I don't know much about this particular Bretagne. There are hints of an French Navy anchor on the tail and roundel which would make it quite unusual, unlike the FAF VIP Bretagnes which were fairly regular. |

. 25788 is one of the Medevac Convairs which made regular flights with patients for the USAF hospital at South Ruislip. This was taken before they were painted with the red cross tail. |

This L-23 Seminole (Twin Bonanza) was taken parked behind the contol tower in September 1958. There seems to be no propeller on the visible engine. This probably explains why the a/c was present for a week or two. |

US Army visitors of any type were not very common in the 1960s, so this L-20 was quite unusual. |
