The last Tomcat delivered to AMARC, F-14D 164341/AJ-112 of VF-31 arrived on September 20. Other examples still with VF-31 are slated for delivery to various museums  (AMARC official)

T-2C 158605/27 ex TPS NAS Patuxent River.  This is the last of the three TPS Buckeyes to be retired (AMARC official)

101stFS/MA ANG F-15A 77-0102/MA "102FW" retired to AMARC in July has a claim to fame in that it was one of the first Eagles to be over New York during the 9/11 attacks

F-14D 164602/AJ-213 of VF-213 "Black Lions" retired to AMARC on 28 March 2006. VFA-213  commenced training on the FA-18F in April 2006, leaving VF-31 "Tomcatters" as the last operational F-14 squadron.

S-3B Vikings continue to arrive at AMARC as the type is retired from US Navy service. VS-21 at NAS Atsugi, Japan retired these two colourful examples in November 2004.

After a lull of ten years, F-15A Eagles are once again being retired to AMARC as they are replaced by 'C' models displaced by the introduction of the F-22A Raptor.

The 20thFS 49thFW "Silver Lobos", the Air Force's last operational F-4 Phantom unit, retired the last of their F-4F's, following its inactivation ceremony on 20 December 2004.   The squadron provided German AF crews with combat training on the F-4E/F at Holloman AFB, NM (Air Force photos).

The last five 'A' model F-14 Tomcats arrived for storage at AMARC on 13th September 2004.  Aircraft were 161612/AB-100, 162610/AB-102, 158632/AB-103, 161626/AB-105, 161297/AB-115 all ex VF-211 "Fighting Checkmates" from NAS Oceana, Virginia.  Four of the aircraft are shown here shortly after arrival. The last active-duty C-141B Starlifter, piloted by 18thAF Commander Lt.Gen. William Welser III, 64-0633 ex 305thAMW, McGuire AFB, NJ arrives for storage at AMARC on 16th September 2004. 20 C-141C's are still in use with AFRC (4 at March ARB, CA, 16 at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH)
