G100 |
Previously
known as the Israeli Aircraft Industries 1125 Astra SPX this 5000km range,
$11.5 million 1.45m wide aircraft was renamed as the Gulfstream 100 on
the range's acquisition by Gulfstream in 2001. The first model SPX was
c/n 073. It is powered by the TFE731-40R engines. Aircraft from c/n 079
onwards have been built to this specification and around 70 had been built
by late 2002. Aircraft are built in Israel and flown 'green' to the
USA for completion. The G150 is intended to replace the G100. |

G150 |
.This
5000km range, $13.5 million aircraft is a wide cabin replacement for the
G100. Announced at the NBAA show in 2002, It is designed to compete
with the Citation Sovereign. Joint development is being undertaken
with Israel Aircraft Industries and is scheduled to take 36 months.
It utilises the G100 tail and wing, but has a 0.30m wider fuselage, now
1.75m and upgraded avionics with TFE731-40 engines. Range is quoted
as 5000km with 4 passengers and a maximum speed of M0.85. In April
2003 a certification delay was announced due to the significant downturn
in demand for ececutive jets. Rolled out in mid January 2005, the
first flight took place on 3rd May 2005 with certification achieved in
November 2005 and deliveries starting in August 2006. Netjets have
ordered 50. As with the 100 & 200, the aircraftis built
in Israel and flown to Dallas for completion. |

G200 |
The
6600km range, $19.5 million super mid size G200 was originally produced
as the IAI1126 Galaxy until the range was acquired by Gulfstream Aerospace
in mid 2001. Utilising the G100 wing, the Aircraft is built in Israel and
flown 'green' to Dallas-Love Field, Texas where they are fitted out
for delivery. The G200 can accommodate up to nineteen passengers
over transatlantic ranges, powered by P&WC PW306A turbofans.
Gulfstream Aerospace purchased the model to fill a gap in GAC's aircraft
range enabling it to more effectively compete with Bombardier |
