Adapted from the Embraer family of regional jets,
the Legacy has proved a popular alternative to more expensive executive
jets, being only slightly smaller than a new Gulfstream at half the price.
Range is 3,100nm at a maximum speed of mach 0.8. A shuttle version
is available to carry up to 19 passengers at a slightly lower speed up
to 1,700nm using Rolls-Royce AE3007-A1/3 engines. Power for the Legacy
is supplied by the larger AE3007-AE1 engines. |
